The Stranger Things theme also had it, for example in the theme's first appearance in https://www.irregularwebcomic.net/4075.htmlI'm pretty sure it's been used in some other comics as well, perhaps even earlier than #2296, but this and #4404 were the only instances I could find quickly using the search interface.
I suspect there were other earlier appearances, but don't have time to re-re-read the whole archive today. : )
