Want to make your NPCs look impressive? Have them do stuff with ease. Something that another character would struggle to do? They achieve it without a second thought. No sign of strain, or even concentration.

Ah, but he doesn't do that here. Rolls of 17 and 18? All PCs would say "Well, I was a bit lucky there." If you want to make it look like they're doing it with ease, have them do the one-finger move - but on a Take 10.
